Queen Victoria School - on the edge of Dunblane in Scotland. A co-ed boarding school for the children of Scottish Service personnel or those who are serving or have served in Scotland. Applications will be considered on a compassionate basis, providing the criteria for 'normal' admission are fulfilled and that there is availability of a space.

Wellington College - in Berkshire offers foundation places to children of deceased military servicemen and servicewomen.

The Royal Caledonian Schools Trust - The trust helps the child(ren) of a Scot, who is serving or has served in the Armed Forces to reach their full educational potential.

Forces Childrens Trust - The Forces Children's Trust is a charity devoted to helping dependant children that have lost a parent whilst serving with the Armed Forces.

The Duke of York's Royal Military School, Dover - A unique independent boarding school for 11-18 year old sons and daughters of RN,RM,Army and RAF personnel, both serving and retired.

Cargilfield Preparatory School, Edinburgh - A co-educational independent school located on the outskirts of Edinburgh catering for pupils aged 3-13 years old. The governing body has kindly agreed to offer up to four funded places annually to children aged 8-13years as 2 weekly boarders ( children return home every other weekend). This applies to children of all three services killed whilst operationally deployed and consequentially medically discharged.
